How to use Keyword Gap report
This report is useful when you want to make sure your highest-traffic pages are properly optimized for the keywords that already perform well. It helps identify pages that rank and get clicks but are not fully optimized in key SEO elements.
Pages with strong traffic and weak keyword usage are often the fastest wins for improving rankings, especially on large websites where manual checks are difficult.
How to use the report
The report lists your top pages by clicks for the selected period. For each page, you see its top keyword, search metrics, and keyword usage status across key on-page elements.
By default, the report shows only the most important data so you can quickly understand whether optimization is strong or needs improvement. If you need more context, you can enable additional page or keyword metrics using Manage Columns.

If the top keyword looks poorly optimized, you can click View All Keywords to open Page Details and review other important keywords for that page in the Keyword Gap section.

You can also open Page Details directly by clicking the page URL or the magnifier icon.
Widget on the Dashboard
The Keyword Gap widget gives a quick overview directly on the Dashboard. It shows the page, page clicks, top keyword, keyword clicks, and keyword usage in the title and headings.

Clicking View All Keywords opens Page Details with the Keyword Gap section for the selected page. The widget also includes a View Full Report button that opens the full Keyword Gap report.
Exportation
You can export the Keyword Gap report using the Export option in the report header.
It generates a table that mirrors the data shown in the report, including pages, their top keywords, search metrics, and keyword usage across key SEO elements.

The exported file is structured in a clear tabular format, making it easy to review optimization status outside the app, share with teammates, or use for further analysis in spreadsheets.
