How it works
Sitechecker compares your Search Console data for the period you choose with the previous period of the same length.
The report has three tabs:
- Top Performance: all pages, sorted by clicks.
- Winners: only pages with growth in the chosen metric.
- Losers: only pages with a drop in the chosen metric.
On the Winners and Losers tabs, Clicks is the default metric. You can switch to another one. You see both the change and the change in percent.
Filters
Use the date picker to choose the period. The previous period is selected for comparison by default.
You can search pages by URL and filter by Devices, Countries and Pages rules like contains or doesn't contain.
Table
Each row shows a page with its clicks, impressions, CTR and position for both periods and the change. Use Manage Columns to choose what to show.
Click a page URL to open Page Details, where you can see its keywords and history.
How to use it in practice
- Check the Losers tab every week. Look at the pages with the biggest drop in clicks first.
- If impressions dropped too, the page probably lost positions. If only CTR dropped, check the title and description, or new SERP features above your result.
- Open the Winners tab after you update content. It shows whether your changes worked.
