How it works

Sitechecker compares your Search Console data for the period you choose with the previous period of the same length.

The report has three tabs:

  • Top Performance: all keywords, sorted by clicks.
  • Winners: only keywords with growth in the chosen metric.
  • Losers: only keywords with a drop in the chosen metric.

On the Winners and Losers tabs, Clicks is the default metric. You can switch to another one. You see both the change and the change in percent.

Filters

Use the date picker to choose the period. The previous period is selected for comparison by default.

You can search keywords and filter by Devices, Countries, Keywords rules like contains or doesn't contain, and Brand / Non-brand.

Table

Each row shows a keyword with its clicks, impressions, CTR and position for both periods and the change. Use Manage Columns to choose what to show.

How to use it in practice

  1. Open the Losers tab and filter by Non-brand. These keywords show where competitors or Google changes took your traffic.
  2. If a keyword lost clicks but kept its position, check the search results for new ads, AI Overviews or other features.
  3. Use the Winners tab to find keywords that are growing. Add the most valuable ones to Rank Tracker to follow them daily.
